A counseling session will be held for the selected candidates on July 14, 2015 in UG Office, IISc campus. Please note that participation in the counseling session is mandatory for confirming your seat in the Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme.

The cut off ranks for short-listed candidates in different categories in the JEE (ADV) stream under "COMMON RANK LIST" are:

26(General); 1082(OBC-NCL); 1200(SC); 12,500(ST); 1082(KM) and 1082(PH)

Among the above short-listed candidates, those who have secured a rank between 10,001 and 12,500 in the JEE (ADV) stream under "COMMON RANK LIST" need to attend interview on July 13, 2015 at the UG Office, IISc. Bangalore. Candidates who get selected, are required to attend the counseling session starting at 9.00 AM on July 14, 2015.

Offers have also been made to candidates under OBC (NCL) category in JEE (MAIN) with marks 194 and above, for interview on July 13, 2015 at the UG Office, IISc. Bangalore. Candidates who get selected, are required to attend the counseling session starting at 9.00 AM on July 14, 2015.

The formalities for admission and hostel room allocation will be completed on July 15, 2015. Orientation/classes will be held from July 16, 2015 onwards.

A counseling session will be held for the selected candidates on July 1, 2015 in the IISc campus. Please note that participation in the counseling session is mandatory for confirming your seat in the Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme.

The cut off marks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in the JEE (Main) stream are: 325(General); 250(OBC-NCL); 220(SC); 108(ST), 250(KM) and 140(PH).

Among the above shortlisted candidates, those who have secured less than 285 marks in JEE(Main) need to attend interview on June 30, 2015 at 9 AM in the UG Office, IISc. Bangalore

All SC/ST/OBC/PH candidates qualified in the KVPY-SA/SX/SA-E/SX-E/SX-PWD streams were offered admission. Offers were also made to all general category applicants with ranks of up to 350, 10 and 350 for the KVPY-SA, SB, and SX streams, respectively.

Offer letters have been sent to these candidates by email. A counselling session will be held for the selected candidates on May 21, 2015 in the IISc campus. Please note that participation in the counselling session is mandatory for confirming your seat in the Bachelor of Science (Research) Programme.

July 25, 2014

Spot admission offers will be made to KVPY candidates whose ranks are below 300 in SA-M and SX. This will be held from 10 AM on July 30, 2014. Spot admission will stop at 12 noon on July 30, 2014. If you get selected, you will be required to complete the admission process on the same day.

Candidates attending spot counselling on July 30 are required to note that since the number of seats is limited, the chances of getting admission will also be limited. In particular, you are not guaranteed admission.

The cut off marks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in the JEE (Advanced) stream were: 246(General); 195(OBC-NCL); 108(SC); 108(ST), 140(KM) and 140(PH). Among the above shortlisted candidates, those who have secured less than 152 marks in JEE(Advanced) need to attend interview

The cut off marks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in the JEE (Main) stream were: 295(General); 196(OBC-NCL); 150(SC); 108(ST), 181(KM) and 181(PH). Among the above shortlisted candidates, those who have secured less than 275 marks in JEE(Main)need to attend interview

The cut off marks for shortlisted candidates in different categories in the AIPMT stream were: 600(General); 390(OBC-NCL); 300(SC); 216(ST), 362(KM) and 362(PH). Among the above shortlisted candidates, those who have secured less than 463 marks in AIPMT need to attend interview

In addition, depending on the number of vacancies in the general category, spot admission offers will be made to KVPY candidates whose ranks are below 215 in SA-M and SX. This will be held on July 25, 2014. Spot admission will stop at 12 noon on July 25, 2014. If you get selected, you will be required to complete the admission process on the same day.

Candidates attending the interview or spot counselling are required to note that since the number of seats is limited, the chances of getting admission will also be limited. In particular, you are not guaranteed admission.
