IISc has introduced a four year Bachelor of Science (B.S.) program for undergraduate students starting from 2011. For most of the students joining this program, IISc might be the first experience of living outside the comfort of their homes. Students’ Council Undergraduate Committee aims to make their student life comfortable and enjoyable by providing them the necessary support to gel well with others and adjust quickly to the campus atmosphere.
The coordinators and volunteers meet the B.S. students regularly to help them out with any issues they might be facing on campus, either academic or non-academic. Also, they provide guidance and direction to enable students to solve some of the issues on their own.
UG committee also coordinates with other committees and clubs on campus to organize extracurricular activities for UG students.

Sri Vallabha Sri Vallabha completed his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering at IIT Madras in 2007. He worked for two years in business consulting and automotive engineering design before joining IISc for pursuing Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering in 2009.
