- The ‘Nation First Initiative’ shall have only the regularly enrolled students (on a full-time basis) of the Indian Institute of Science as its members. In case a member graduates from the institute, he/she ceases to be the member of the committee automatically but can continue to be a mentor.
- A person willing to join the committee is free to nominate himself/herself at any time of the year; the approval of membership is subject to the consensus of existing members of the committee.
- Members shall be free to dissociate at any time.
- No member shall have more power or rights over any other member of the committee
