Cultural Committee 2011-12 |

As cultural committe , we want to bring about change in the boring life of the research students with the events listed below. Also we have UG students in our campus this year, we want them to have a cultural environment in the campus during their collage life. This is possible with the suport of students. Let us make this as a part of iisc culture. Continuous cultural program through out year (2 programs in 3 months) and organizing a annual cultural Fest is the agenda of Cultural Committee 2011.
We want to conduct the following events in IISc - Fresher’s Party and DJ night
- Traditional day
- Stylo Day (beard and hair style competition)
- Diwali musical celebration on next day of Diwali with help of music club
- Dance and music competition with help of clubs on different days
- Sufi music celebration on the occasion Eid with help of music club
- New year eve party
- Annual cultural festival
- Kavi Sammelan (may be or may not be with annual cultural festival)
- Movie week ( 5 days 5 different type of movies )
