Q: What all do I need to get with me, for the admissions? What is it like?

Q: Will SC arrange transport from Railway Stations to IISc?

A: Buses will be arranged from the Bangalore City Station and Yeshwanthpur Station only. Not from the other Stations. Buses with IISc banners will be there in the parking lot. 

Q: Will SC arrange transport from the Airport?

A: No

Q: My parents are accompanying me. Will they get accommodation on Campus?

A:Accommodation is not provided to accompanying parents.

Q: Is the campus Wi-Fi Enabled?

A: All the department buildings are Wi-Fi enabled.

Q: Where can I buy essentials on Campus?

A: There are shops,very near to the Hostel Office.

Q: Where can I get a Mobile Connection? 

A: Telecom Service Providers will be putting up stalls just outside the Hostel Office. You can purchase a new connection from there.

Academic Issues - Department Curriculum Committee, Dept Chairman, Div Chairman and Dean

Amenities - Amenities Committee, Students' Council for complaints about Tea Kiosk, Campus Shops etc.

Hostels - Hostel Office and Hostel President

Messes - Mess Office and Mess President

Parking/Vehicles on Campus - Security Office

Stray Animals - Security Office

Harassment - Centre for Counseling and Support (for general complaints) and the Sexual Harassment Complaints Committee

In case your issue is not addressed satisfactorily then send us an email with all details and we will look into the matter.
