Students' Council

Amenities Committee is largely responsible for collecting feedback and complaints on the various amenities (such as refreshments, shops etc.) provided on the campus and engages with the administration with the help of other committees and Students' council members to find resolution to various issues and problems affecting the same. Also all feasible suggestions will be implemented as soon as possible.

Plans are also afoot to start new amenities on the campus after taking your feedback and considering for the wider student community.

SaurabhAggarwal

SaurabhAggarwal completed his B.Tech from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar in 2009. Soon after in August 2009 he joined IISc for pursuing Research in the area of Communication Networks. Channel Assignment, Wireless Mesh Networks are some of his areas of interest. He has actively worked in various activities of Students' Council. Bicycle Drive, Help the Needy are few of them. Right now he is coordinator for Amenities Committee.

SivaramakrishnaPerala

Sivaramakrishna Perala completed his Master's (2006) from Department of Chemical Engineering, IIScand has worked in software development till December 2008. In January 2009 he joined back in IISc for pursuing Phd in the area of nanotechnology. Modeling and simulation in the area of nanotechnology, and CFD simulations are the areas of his interest. He has actively volunteered in independent student drives helping victims of flood and other emergencies. He also played active role in collecting funds for blind school, Note Book Drive, etc. Right now he is one of the Steering Committee members of Students' Council, coordinator for Amenities Committee, and also a member of Academics Committee.
