Students' Council

It is undoubtedly an honor and privilege to be a student of this Institute. Our individual efforts in the advancement of knowledge in our respective areas may not be significant, but collectively as an Institute we have made great progress. This achievement was not made possible by the efforts and contributions of a small minority, it is the fruit of the labors of many men and women over the past hundred years. We believe is the duty of every individual to contribute to the development of the environment that sustains him or her.

The Students' Council works as the representative of student interests in all aspects that affect our lives here. The mandate is broad and the responsibility is great. The Council will be working on resolving issues that affect the students and providing the best resources to enable the students to realize their potential.

Success in the Council's efforts cannot be ensured if only a few individuals work for it.  Failures do not happen solely due to a weak leadership and no endeavor can be successful unless all concerned work for it. The Council requires the support of all students and the active involvement of a team of committed students. This is not a drain on your time or wastage of your efforts.  What you do now will make a difference to yourselves and to the wider community. We have planned several activities for the near future and initiatives that will go a long way in bettering the lives of future students of this place. We seek the support of students who feel motivated and have the initiative to do their bit for the community at large. Destiny beckons and it is upto us to heed the call to take this Institute to greater heights.
