3. POWERS
AND DUTIES OF OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES
Director
is the chief executive and academic officer of the Institute and shall be
responsible for the administration of the Institute. The Director shall be
a professor of the Institute in his own field. The Director may, with the
approval of the Council delegates some of his powers, functions and duties to
any member of the staff of the Institute.
In the absence of Director, Associate Director shall discharge the duties and
functions of the Director.
Registrar shall act as ex-officio Secretary of the Court, the Council, the
Finance Committee, the Senate and the Board of Trustees and of the Committees
appointed by these authorities. He will act as recorder of the Institute,
shall be the custodian of the seal and shall have charge of all
documents. He will render such assistance as may be desired by the
Director in the performance of his duties. He shall be responsible for
the work of the Institute.
Other officers and staff of the Institute
assume powers, responsibilities and duties as assigned to them from time to
time by the Director/Associate Director/Registrar
