About the Speaker

Prof. Roddam Narasimha is currently Chairman, Engineering Mechanics Unit at the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research, Bangalore and is closely associated with the Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at IISc. Earlier, Professor Narasimha was Director of National Institute of Advanced Studies, Bangalore; Director, National Aerospace Laboratories, Bangalore; and Professor and Chairman, Department of Aerospace Engineering, IISc.

Professor Narasimha is a Fellow of the Royal Society and a Foreign Associate of the National Academy of Sciences as well as the National academy of Engineering.
