About the Speaker
Prof. J. Srinivasan, Chairman, Mechanical Sciences Division , at the Indian Institute of Science obtained his Ph.D from Stanford University in Mechanical Engineering. He was a lead author in the 2nd and 4th IPCC assesment reports on Climate Change and a review editor for the 3rd IPCC report on climate change. He is a Professor in the Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences and the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Science. |
