Invites application within 15 days from the date of this notification for the post of Project Assistant (1 post) in a DRDO sponsored project “Wireless Ad-Hoc Sensor Networks’, for a duration of one year initially, with a possibility of extension.

 

 

Qualification: BE/B.Tech in ECE or Computer Science with a first class.

 

 

Required skill set: Strong academic training in algorithmic aspects of communication networking, and analytical aspects such as probability, random processes, queuing, and programming in C/C++, under the Linux operating system, working knowledge of Matlab and /or any network simulation tool is desirable.

 

 

Job Description: To assist the project faculty in all aspects of the project, in particular: literature survey, architecture definition, development of network simulation code (including a GUI), running simulations and generating and plotting performance results, programming of wireless sensor devices, and development of associated code, compilation of reports, preparation of presentations, and any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.
